Also, the event intends to engaging all segments of the society with the campaign through several entertainment activities.
It aims to promote economic, social and environmental sustainability through a set of innovative programmes. These programmes include upgrading conventional electricity meters to smart meters to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability, in addition to the 'Baiti Amin' programme, which aims to spread a culture of home safety among all members of the society and raise awareness of the importance of safety in general.
A lecture will be organised about the efforts to rationalise electricity and water consumption to achieve a more sustainable balance in the use of natural resources. Additionally, the company will organise a few environmental initiatives that aim to encourage the community to actively contribute in protecting the environment and its beauty.
It is worth noting that 'Nama Week' is an initiative that targets three governorates annually. The campaign comes following the remarkable success of 'Nama Week in Musandam' campaign, which included various awareness programmes in the fields of health, safety and energy conservation.
