Muscat: In an outstanding display of talent, Abhinanda Rajeev, a 12-year-old student from the Indian School Darsait, has made Oman proud by clinching the gold medal at the Global Dance Open final in Spain.
The competition took place from July 19 to 22, attracting 1200 contestants from 32 countries, making her victory even more remarkable.
Abhinanda showcased her exceptional skills in the Hiphope category, leaving the international judges and audience mesmerized by her captivating performance. Her dedication and hard work were evident as she outperformed participants from around the world to claim the coveted top spot.
Prior to her resounding victory in Spain, Abhinanda had already showcased her talent on multiple stages. She had secured the first place with a scholarship in the Semi Final round held in Qatar, proving her consistency and prowess in the dance arena.
“Abhinanda’s success is an inspiration to aspiring dancers and young talents across Oman. Her achievements mark a significant milestone in the country's dance community, celebrating the power of passion,” said her father, Rajeevan Puthan Purayil, a businessman in Oman.
Abhinanda's talents have been recognized not only on the global stage but also within Oman. She has consistently won numerous prizes in programs organized by various Indian organizations in the Sultanate, earning acclaim for her exceptional skills.
