Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman figures among the top 30 countries ‘Easiest Countries to Learn to Drive’ in the world, as per the international driver's education company, Zutobi.
The company added, "The reality of becoming a legal driver is harder than they would have imagined, with tricky tests and a lot of information to learn before they are allowed on the highways. However, in some parts of the world, these tests are slightly less difficult, and this combined with the financial cost of the tests can make it easier for drivers in certain countries to obtain a license."
As per the Zutobi list, Mexico tops the list followed by Qatar, Latvia, the United States, Canada, Estonia, Barbados, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
In the GCC, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE figure among the hardest countries to learn to drive.
