SALALAH: The Oman Automobile Association is pleased to announce the inclusion of exhilarating motorsport events as part of the much-anticipated Khareef Dhofar Festival in Salalah. The addition of these events aims to provide a unique and thrilling experience for the general public, families, and motorsports enthusiasts attending the seasonal annual festival.
Salalah Celebrations Square From July 15th to September 1st, will be transformed into a hub of adrenaline-pumping action, hosting a series of four captivating motorsport events for participants of all ages and interests.
"Bringing motorsport events to Khareef Dhofar Festival is a significant milestone for us," said Sulaiman al Rawahi, Managing Director of the Oman Automobile Association. "We aim to create an unforgettable experience for not only motorsports fans but the wider community in Oman, showcasing the passion and excitement that motorsports can offer." he added.
Hamood al Balushi, Event Director at Khareef Dhofar Motorsport events, explained, "We are thrilled to present these thrilling motorsport events as part of the Khareef Dhofar Festival. With a diverse range of activities, from karting circuits to digital motorsports and bike ride parades, we are confident that participants and spectators alike will be captivated by the exhilarating atmosphere."
Karting Circuit Experience:

Kicking off the motorsport extravaganza, the Karting Circuit Experience promises an exhilarating adventure for individuals aged 5 and above. Participants will have the opportunity to unleash their inner speedster by racing on state-of-the-art karts, including Rt8, Dino, Baby Kart, and Double Seater models. It's an experience not to be missed!
Digital Motorsports:

In the digital realm, motorsport enthusiasts can indulge in the world of virtual racing and compete against each other in thrilling driving simulators. The Digital Motorsports event, held adjacent to the Karting Circuit Experience, offers an immersive experience for both casual gamers and competitive drivers.
Bike Ride Parade:
Nizwa Bikers: August 6 to August 10
Oman Riders: August 25 to September 1
Embark on an epic journey as two prestigious bike clubs, Nizwa Bikers and Oman Riders, traverse the scenic route from Muscat to Dhofar. Witness their awe-inspiring display of passion and skill as they make their way through the beautiful landscapes of Oman. Join us along the route to cheer them on and be part of this incredible adventure!
