Al Naseem International Circus, which began amusing the audience from various walks since July 9 at Al Amerat Park, is a major crowd puller with its never-before acrobatics and animal show, trapeze and deathwell performances.
"This is the first time a circus is coming to Oman and we are glad about it," said Mohammed al Hinai, partner of the project.
Some of the breath-taking performances by artists from 8 countries which include Africa, Argentina, Columbia, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Mexico and Pakistan are a sure shot to keep the audience at the edge of their seats, according to the organisers. The show is presented by Oman's acclaimed presenter Maan al Maani.
Activities one can look forward to at Al Amerat Park include spine-chilling acrobatics, awe-inspiring puppetry, scintillating aerial displays, and taming the beasts besides internationally reputed martial arts by acclaimed artists from Colombia, Argentina, Iran and Africa.
Animals are trained under world-renowned champion trainer Mohammed Ali Kahramani who will grace the stage with brainy performances. The trained acrobatic teams will showcase astonishing art forms, ensuring a show brimming with surprises.
The circus is brought to Oman by Dr Musab al Hinai, CEO of Al Naseem Group, which has various family entertainment and amusement projects running.
Performances are taking place all days from 6 pm and 8.30 pm.
Tickets are priced at RO 8 for adults and children, while VIP tickets are available for RO 10. Children under the age of two enter for free. There are raffle coupons up for sale RO 3 where members of the audience are given a chance to win exciting prizes.
Next station Salalah: As per the earlier plans, the circus will be in Al Amerat for 16 days and is scheduled to move to Salalah for 40 days. However, the troupe may have an earlier move due to the extreme weather conditions, according to the management.
"Although we planned to station in Muscat for 16 days, we may move some days in advance due to the temperatures and enjoy more of Khareef. However, we might come back to Al Amerat after Salalah," Mohammed added.
