During your trip and when driving the vehicle, be aware of the engine overheating by stopping the vehicle, adhering to security and safety measures while refuelling, not smoking inside the vehicle, not being busy with the phone while driving, in case of sudden weather change, slow down and adhere to safety measures while driving, and adhere to wearing a belt safety and placing children in the safety seat designated for them.
CDAA confirmed its readiness to provide firefighting, rescue and ambulance services to citizens, residents and visitors of Dhofar Governorate.
Colonel Mubarak bin Salem al Araimi, General Director of Operations and Training and in charge of operations at CDAA, said, “The authority has approved its operational plans for the Khareef Dhofar season for the year 2023, as the plan includes strengthening its current centres and publishing other points on the roads leading to Dhofar Governorate in each of Governorates (Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah, and Al Wusta) to deal with the communications that come to the points through the police operations centre and the operations centres in the governorates.”
“The authority is constantly seeking to raise the level of awareness among all segments of society by using its official platforms on social media and other media, distributing educational brochures, holding events, and deploying field teams in various locations for awareness and guidance, appreciating the great role played by various media in order to promote preventive awareness among different segments of society," he added.
