Oman’s International Umpire looks to make a move from Oman

Navaneetha Krishnan, who is a level 2 accredited umpire by the Asian Cricket Council, has decided to make a move on to his long stay in Oman since 2006. Navaneetha started his umpiring journey in 2014 by completing the Level 0 certification in Oman, has risen through the ranks in the domestic league from junior cricket over the past 9 years.


He has also been a part of a number of cricket matches. Currently, he has also certified as an educator of cricket umpiring by the Asian Cricket Council.


“17 years is a long time and I have certainly celebrated each and every moment of my life here in Oman. I would personally like to thank each and every person from my work space to the cricketing fraternity for all the love and support in this time,” Navaneetha said.


Navaneetha Krishnan is also the Division G Director at Toastmasters of District 105, which is in-charge of 22 clubs in Oman. He has also been the committee member to the Indian Social Club. In addition, he is one of the International Directors of VAWO (Varma Kalari Adimurai World Organisation).
