In recent years, Oman has made significant progresses in becoming a preferred destination for international brands. One notable improvement is in the development of a robust legal frameworks that protects the interests of everyone involved in IPs transactions. The Government has put in place measures to encourage foreign investments, making it easier and more profitable for international brands to establish themselves in Oman. For example, the country's culture is focused on traditional markets, which may challenge international brands that offer more modern shopping experiences.

Oman can benefit significantly from the expertise of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in its pursuit of somewhat risky ventures. As the foremost authority on global IPs legal platforms, WIPO may assist Oman in the establishment of proper procedures and legal structures needed to deal with IPs licensing and acquisition.
