London: Tasks of the 4th edition of Duqm Refinery’s Leadership Programme for Outstanding Students began in the United Kingdom (UK) on Monday.
The programme is conducted by Takatuf Oman in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company.
The programme targets 20 outstanding male and female students in the tenth grade from various educational directorates, and it lasts for 6 weeks.
The programme seeks to encourage students to learn about other cultures and develop their English language and leadership skills. The students undergo an advanced English language course at one of the most world’s prestigious institutions, which is the Oxford International Study Centre. They also participate in many sports, tourism and entertainment activities.
