Mohammed al Muqbali, a resident of Shinas, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We have received tremendous cooperation from all participating parties, including Shinas Municipality, who have provided us with a well-prepared venue and excellent facilities."
Al Muqbali emphasised the significance of Eid as a time of joy for children, spanning three consecutive days. He further added, "Eid brings with it beautiful customs and traditions that have been cherished and passed down by our fathers and grandfathers. After receiving their Eid gifts, we take our children to Ayoud, where they can purchase various toys, gifts, and sweets. They spend their time playing, participating in competitions, and enjoying the children's programmes."
The Ayoud Shinas entertainment forum encompasses a wide range of engaging games for children, as well as horseback riding and a section dedicated to popular Omani cuisine.
Ayoud fosters social interactions and cohesion among members of society. These festivities hold immense importance in public life and instill in children a sense of loyalty, belonging, solidarity, and social harmony. Eids play a prominent role in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, cooperation, and solidarity among community members. They evoke joy, happiness, and a sense of familiarity in the hearts of children and adults alike.
