MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the 16th edition of its annual Partners in Progress (PiP) awards ceremony at the Kempinski Hotel Al Mouj, Muscat to honour top merchant partners from government institutions and private sector companies. The event was held in the presence of Shaikh Waleed K al Hashar, Chief Executive Officer, Bank Muscat and members of the bank’s Management Team. The gala event was attended by representatives from the Top 40 institutions, who have implemented various payment acceptance solutions using POS terminals.
Nine ministries and government institutions won awards for implementing the bank’s payment acceptance solutions using POS terminals at the awards ceremony including the Royal Oman Police, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, Oman Development Bank, Supreme Judiciary Council and Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
Corporate merchant partner winners included: Omantel, Landmark Group, OIFC, Otaxi, Awasr, Carrefour, Extra, NMC Healthcare, Ikea, Al Ahlia Insurance, Talabat, Lulu Hypermarket, Ooredoo, Al Shaya International, Shell Oman Marketing, Malabar Gold Jewellery, Pizza Hut, Muscat Pharmacy, ONEIC, Oman International Container Terminal, Apparel International, Salam Air, The International School of Choueifat, Global Exchange, Makkah Hypermarket, Thawani, Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Tageer Finance, Six Senses Zighy Bay, Saud Bahwan Automotive and Al Fair.
On this occasion, Abdulnasir al Raisi, General Manager – Personal Banking, Bank Muscat congratulated all the winners and thanked them for their efforts in promoting various merchant solutions.
