Future Tech event to showcase local talents with global expertise

Tech-savvy people will have an opportunity to witness the latest technological know-how at Future Tech, which is scheduled to take place on November 27 and 28 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.


The platform will showcase the true potential of the Omani youths in areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and 4IR, along with their global counterparts.


The 3rd Future Tech, the Sultanate of Oman's B2B and B2G bespoke technology event, will also offer networking opportunities for C-Level executives, leading industry experts, policymakers and government officials from different sectors.


"It is a definitive meeting place facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue with a power-packed line of panellists from various sectors," Ulrika Varela, Project Director, told the Observer.


The panellists will hold brainstorming sessions on the value chain to foster collaboration, discuss current challenges and business opportunities, develop market strategies, share knowledge and identify solutions shaping the future of technology.

The event is organised in line with Oman Vision 2040 Digital Transformation, which is expected to play an integral role, boost and nearly double to RO 2.2 billion ($5.6 billion) by 2024, up from RO 1.2 billion ($3.2 billion) in 2019, according to a recent report by the market research firm Global Data.
