Salalah: Salalah wakes up with a heavy morning drizzle on Thursday. Even though it was a pleasant surprise to everyone, it was not unexpected as people were expecting it anytime due to the sudden change in weather for the last three days, cloud conditions and high humidity.
The drizzling has brought the morning temperature down by 2 degrees to 29 degrees Celsius compared to Wednesday’s, while overall temperatures of the day are likely to stay between 30 and 32 degrees.
Five more days to go when the Khareef season will officially start. As per the official calendar, the season starts on June 21 till the end of August.
The drizzling, according to most of the people in the city, is an announcement of the ensuing Khareef season, preparations for which are already in place.
