PERSIAN LANGUAGE
The inception of a Persian Language Education Centre was prompted by the shared characteristics of the Arabic and Persian languages, as well as the significant role language plays in advancing Islamic culture and fortifying cultural ties. In 2009, during the visit of the late Sultan Qaboos, an agreement was reached to establish an institute dedicated to teaching the Persian language in Muscat.
Over the years, the institute has garnered the interest of numerous enthusiasts of the Persian language. Its primary objective is to acquaint learners with the intricacies of the Persian language, underscore the similarities between Arabic and Persian, and offer instruction in Persian literature, verb conjugation, sentence construction, and reading comprehension while also familiarising students with Persian language culture and the distinguishing elements between the two languages.
