MUSCAT: School of Confidence Oman (SOCO) successfully hosted its first annual speech and drama competition on May 13. The event took place at Haffa House Hotel’s Salalah Ballroom in Ruwi.
The full-day competition showcased the talents of over 100 students who confidently took the stage to perform solo in various activities, including public speaking, monologues and storytelling.
Each participant received a well-deserved medal and certificate to acknowledge their efforts.
The highlight of the event was 32 prize winners who were awarded trophies of different sizes based on their impressive performances and positions secured.
SOCO offers a comprehensive personality enrichment programme catered to children between the ages of 5 and 13. With in-person sessions held at their centres in Al Ghubra and Al Wadi Kabir, as well as online sessions attended by students from India, Dubai and New Zealand, they are dedicated to nurturing confident individuals worldwide.
The programme is designed to help children overcome hesitation, become more forthcoming and boost confidence through a variety of engaging activities. SOCO’s carefully curated curriculum ensures all-around personality development and provides a platform for students to unleash their true potential.
