The annual Science Fiesta to be held at the National University of Science and Technology, Al Hail Campus, on May 19 and 20 will see a large number of budding scientists interacting with renowned scientist Dr Mylswamy Annadurai.
Organised by the Indian Science Forum of the Indian Social Club, the grand fest is the culmination of the year-long scientific events in which there are participants from more than 20 Indian schools competing in a range of competitions, including debate, symposium, on-the-spot science project, exhibition, and photography, according to the organisers.
Dr Mylswamy Annadurai, former director of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, and Dr Ali bin Saud al Bimani, Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology, will be the special guests of honour. The event is expected to draw around 4,000 attendees, including invited dignitaries, students, parents, teachers, and members of the Indian community over the two-day event.
