Manama - The Civil Aviation Affairs on Tuesday announced the resumption of flights between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, as of May 25, in accordance with what was agreed upon between the concerned authorities in the two countries.
"The resumption of flights between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar comes within the framework of the relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and in a manner that achieves the common aspirations of the leaderships and citizens of both countries," the official statement.
The Sultanate of Oman recently welcomed the accord between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar on resuming diplomatic relations, following the Bahrain-Qatar Follow-up Committee’s second meeting held at the GCC Secretariat-General in Riyadh.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman said that the step will lend support to cooperation among brethren and consolidate the GCC joint action in a manner that generates gains for all in the region.
