The ninth edition of the IDF Oman, annual design and decor exhibition concluded at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center attracting visitors from the GCC and beyond to its three day showcase of innovative ideas, products and services.
The event, which opened on May 8 alongside related dedicated events such as Kitchen and Bathroom Show, Tile and Stone Show, Light Oman Show, and Smart Living and Workspaces Expo, covered the spectrum of products and services required for the design, fit-out, and upgrade of residential, hospitality, office and retail spaces.
"The Sultanate of Oman has been witnessing projects in large scale post pandemic and the demand for IDF is all the more high. With the Sultanate of Oman's rapid progress in the construction and the real estate sector, it has witnessed the launch of numerous commercial, residential and tourism projects, thus creating a demand for interior and outdoor design, décor and furnishings," a representative from the IDF said.
The key objective of the exhibition was to display the latest in technology, usage of materials and innovative approaches to interior design, décor and furniture. IDF has helped meet the growing demand, by bringing together all the leading companies in the industry under one roof.
This edition also showcased accessories and art, bathroom, building material, carpets, commercial interiors and fit out, décor, flooring, furniture and furnishings, interior design, kitchen, lightings, luxury lifestyle, outdoor design and build, renovation, retail fit-out and eco building, surfaces and finishes, textiles, vastu and feng shui, to compliment the ongoing construction of major infrastructure projects in the Sultanate of Oman, making the exhibition an 'exclusive emporium'.
Brands such as Asian Paints, Jotun, Rak Ceramics and many more local, regional as well as international brands made their presence felt at the 9th IDF Oman Exhibition 2023.
