MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Dhofar University signed two cooperation agreements to support the establishment of a college of medicine at Dhofar University, in addition to cooperation in a number of academic and training fields.
The first agreement provides for the formation of joint teams of experts from both sides, setting interim indicators and providing a 10-year support programme for the establishment of a college of medicine at Dhofar University. The agreement also stipulates the development of basic plans, study plans, curricula, standard procedures, education and training programmes, a system for the assessment of students of the college scheduled to be set up, academic accreditation requirements and quality assurance for the Doctor of Medicine programme. - ONA
