2. Fresh downdraft with a speed of 15 to 35 KT (28-64 km/h).

Poor horizontal visibility due to dust rising during thundershowers.

An upper air trough will affect the Sultanate of Oman starting today (April 18) until Friday, April 21, 2023.

The center indicated that there is a chance of cloud advection and isolated thundershowers associated with occasionally fresh downdrafts over the Al Hajar Mountains range and adjacent areas.

The peak of the effect of the trough is expected over the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, North Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, and Al Dakhyliah.
