Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority advised the public to take necessary precautions during the heavy rainfall and to be cautious of running wadis. Fishermen and sea-goers were advised to check the weather updates before venturing into the sea.
Many wilayats witnessed cloudy conditions as medium to high clouds poured into several parts of the country. Cumulonimbus clouds formed over the Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas bringing scattered rain.
Dense fog and dust prevailed over deserts and open areas leading to causing low visibility.
