Temperatures touch around 40°C in many wilayats

Muscat: Several places in the Sultanate registered temperatures near 40 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours:

These places are Suhar and Liwa (39.9°C), Saham (39.6°C), Suwaiq (39.5°C), Fahud (39.4°C), and Rustaq (39.3°C).

Meanwhile, Oman Meterology said that clouds flowing over most of the northern governorates may result in scattered rain in the Hajar Mountains and the adjacent areas. Dust and dirt rising due to the active wind movement over the desert and exposed areas.
