Muscat: Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), Oman's first leading integrated telecommunications services provider, has appointed five representatives to the Board of Zain Mobile Telecommunications Company. This came in a disclosure published by Omantel on Muscat Stock Exchange in which the company says it has maintained its representation with five seats at the board of Zain Company.
“The Oman Telecommunications Company SAOG (Omantel) would like to inform shareholders and investors community that it has maintained its representation with five seats in the board of Zain Mobile Telecommunications Company. It came as a result of the Board election that took place on 11th April 2023, in Kuwait,” the disclosure reads.
According to Omantel, this step came following the board’s elections that took place in the State of Kuwait on April 11, 2023.
