Muscat: Dr Neveen al Kilany, Egypt’s Minister of Culture on Thursday visited the Royal Opera House at Muscat (ROHM) and the House of Musical Arts.
The Egyptian Minister’s visit comes within the framework of Cairo Opera Ballet’s performance of “Zorba the Greek”.
During the visit, the guest viewed ROHM’s unique architectural designs that go hand in hand with the latest technologies used in fields of stage, audio and lighting. She also toured the musical arts exhibition and the music library at the House of Musical Arts.
Moreover, Nasr Hamoud al Kindi, Deputy Chairman of ROHM’s Board of Directors met here today with the Egyptian Minister.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed means of boosting relations and cultural cooperation between ROHM and Cairo Opera House. They also discussed means of exchanging expertise in various fields related to arts.
