MUSCAT: Knowledge Oman is all set to organise its up-coming public seminar on 'The impact of Social Media on the Omani community' at Muscat University in Al Ghubra from 6:30 to 9:00 pm on February 15, 2023. The public free event will be graced by Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad bin Hamoud al Busaidy.
“We have received lots of positive response from the society on our last seminar that revolved around Women contribution in the society. This time, our public seminar will focus on the impact of social media in the Omani community, and we are proud to host Sayyid Khalid as the guest of honour for this event” said Balqees al Hassani, Knowledge Oman President.
The “Impact on Social Media in Omani Community” seminar will include a diverse panel of thought leaders, IT experts, sport professionals and educators, to address topics such as social media trends, the impact of technology on changing business and social networking, the use of social media within sports and how it has changed the face of media. The event aims to equip the public with an understanding of different social media tools and platforms and their impact on society, business and the economy - recognising that the interconnected nature of social media and online communities benefits the fields of marketing, finance and IT, and forms the foundation of the digital economy.
