MUSCAT: A force from Muscat Regiment at the 23rd Infantry Brigade of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) along with support units, aircrafts and naval ships, on Saturday headed to the brotherly United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the joint Omani-Emirati military drill (Cooperation 3) which will be conducted in Al Hamra Military Training Centre in the emirate capital Abu Dhabi from February 6 to 16.
The participation comes within the framework of the annual training programmes conducted by the corps of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) represented by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) with the armies of brotherly and friendly countries.
The aim of the drill is to exchange military expertise, activate training plans to sustain high levels of training performance and combat competence of SAF personnel. — ONA
