MUSCAT: The symposium and exhibition on the history of Omani camels in Riyadh continues to attract enthusiastic crowds. The event, which is being held at the Culture Palace in the diplomatic quarter, will run until January 7.
The event, which came as a joint initiative and cooperation with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Riyadh, aims to introduce the participants and visitors to Omani camels, their history, origins and their role in economic, social and cultural life. It also highlights the activities of the Royal Camel Corps and its role in preserving thoroughbred Omani camel breeds and supports the ongoing cooperation between Oman and Saudi Arabia with regard to camels. -- ONA
