Muscat: To mark the 25th round of Gulf Cup, Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran) on Wednesday announced the establishment of a Football Fans Square at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
The Iraqi city of Basra will host this year’s Gulf Cup tournament, scheduled to be held from January 6 to 19, 2022.
The square, which will be a destination for football fans and their families, will be venue to the tournament’s accompanying activities and events.
Gulf Cup matches will be broadcast live on giant screens at the Football Fans Square, which can accommodate up to 1,300 fans. It will be an ideal place for football fans to follow the matches and encourage their national teams.
