Muscat - Omantel, in cooperation with Amazon Web Services, will launch a shopping platform, which will be a comprehensive online store for companies and individuals to search, buy and sell goods, services and solutions securely.
This cooperation comes within the framework of Omantel's efforts to benefit from its global capabilities and partnerships to enhance the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product, enhance the accessibility of Omani small and medium enterprises, and enhance their competitiveness in global markets in line with the objectives of the Oman 2040.
Omantel will work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop the shopping platform that will run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) system, where the platform will benefit from the services provided by the AWS Marketplace.
