

AL AMERAT: The office of the Wali of Al Amerat, in collaboration with the Environment Authority, launched a campaign for distributing 3,000 saplings at the Sultan Center, Al Amerat, on Saturday.
The campaign is part of a nationwide initiative that aims to grow 10 million trees.
The Wali’s office launched a tree plantation campaign in September in cooperation with public and private establishments and civil societies. Since then, a total of 3,190 were planted at various locations in the Wilayat of Al Amerat.
The event was attended by Mohammed bin Humaid al Ghabshi, Wali of Al Amerat and members of specialists at the Environment Authority. — ONA
