Embassy of Oman in Uzbekistan


Tashkent: Ahmed Said al Kithiri, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a reception on the occasion of the 52nd glorious National Day.


The reception was attended by Aziz Abdul Hakimov, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, members of the diplomatic corps, civil and military officials, as well as some Uzbek citizens.

Damascus: Sayyid Turki Mahmoud Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Syrian Arab Republic hosted a reception on the occasion of the 52nd National Day.


The reception was attended by Mansour Azzam, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education, and a number of Syrian officials and academics.

Embassy of Oman in Kuwait


Kuwait: Dr Saleh Amir Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait hosted a reception on the occasion of the 52nd glorious National Day.


The Kuwaiti government was represented during the reception by Shaikh Salim Abdullah Al Jabir al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs.


The reception was attended by a number of sheikhs, ministers and officials at the Kuwaiti government, senior figures, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the international and regional organizations accredited to Kuwait and Omani students in Kuwait.

Embassy of Oman in Brazil


Brasilia: The Sultanate of Oman’s Embassy in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia hosted a reception on the occasion of the 52nd glorious National Day.


The guest of honour during the reception was Ambassador Kenneth Felix, Secretary of the Middle East, Europe and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Meanwhile, Talal Suleiman al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil delivered a speech during which he highlighted Oman Vision 2040, the Sultanate’s efforts to diversify sources of income and the investment climate in Oman.


He also lauded the Omani-Brazilian relations, pointing out that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries at the end of 2021 stood at more than USD 2.4 billion.
