Tehran: Dr Saleh Said Masn, Commerce and Industry Undersecretary met here on Thursday with Alireza Peyman-Pak, Head of Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) in Iran.
The two sides reviewed areas of cooperation between the two countries, notably through activating the sectors of economic diversification, investment and business climate and boosting trade exchange between Oman and Iran.
The meeting also explored means of developing shipping lines between the ports of the two countries and easing customs procedures, among other topics.
The Commerce and Industry Undersecretary’s visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran includes a meeting with Iranian entrepreneurs, a tour of production units of leading companies, establishing a partnership between representatives of the private sector and attracting foreign investments.
