Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will celebrate the graduation of its 33rd batch (2912 graduates) on the 5th and 13th of November.
A first ceremony—for graduation of SQU students from human sciences colleges—will be held under the auspices of Dr Mahad Said Baowain, Minister of Labour on November 5. The batch comprises 1,691 graduates from the colleges of law, education, economics and political sciences, arts and social sciences.
On November 13, a second ceremony will see the graduation of students from science colleges. It will be held under the auspices of Dr Rahma Ibrahim al Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The 1,221-strong batch includes graduates from the colleges of engineering, medicine and health sciences, science, nursing, agricultural and marine sciences.
