Muscat: Acting in cooperation with Environment Society of Oman (ESO), the Environment Authority has released four lappet-faced vultures in Assarain Nature Reserve, following a caretaking programme at the Authority’s breeding centre in the Wilayat of Barka.
The action coincides with a workshop organized by the Environment Authority in cooperation with the ESO and Disney Conservation Fund.
The workshop underlines the significance of conducting surveys and studies and forming teams from the departments concerned and volunteers to follow up the protection of eagles and birds of prey in Oman.
