India’s 45-year-old Marg Hotels and Resorts is making a foray into the Sultanate of Oman by taking over the operations of Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi, vowing better hospitality to the yearning visitors.
An official ceremony to announce the entry was held at the hotel premises attended by top-notch corporates where Vijay Cherian, Managing Director for Marg Hotels and Resorts said visitors to the Sultanate of Oman as well as domestic travellers in the country can look forward to an elevated experience with the takeover.
“We are making an entry into Oman by taking over Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi, our first overseas project. And with our nearly 5 decades-long experience in the hospitality sector, we aim to elevate the hotel to the most sought-after ‘home away from home’ among the four-star living and fine dining in Muscat for its food, accommodation and business activities. We have a strong team to realise our goals in the sector,” said Cherian.
Golden Tulip Headington Ruwi, a four-star property in downtown Ruwi was opened in 2017 with 118 rooms, a café, restaurant, boardroom, spa, health club, rooftop swimming pool, banquet halls and other facilities, a property considered to be a great value addition to the buzzling Ruwi.
