Muscat: Costa Coffee returns to Oman under the new banner of Kuwait's Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately owned companies in the region.
Bill Murray, British Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, attended the opening of Costa Coffee at the Mall of Oman
The first Costa Coffee Oman store is now officially open in the Mall of Oman, with four more slated to open before the end of the year across the Sultanate of Oman.
“Coffee poses a longstanding culture across the region and the Gulf with special traditions rooted in centuries of rich history. We are thrilled to be bringing back our world-class, hand-crafted coffee to customers in Oman,” expressed Phil Broad, Vice President of Food and Beverages at Alghanim Industries.
Having acquired developmental rights for Costa Coffee in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar in 2019, Alghanim Industries has ensured all its operations employ both local produce and local talent. From a localized pipeline of fresh produce and fresh dairy products to communal events championing the youth, Costa Coffee’s community-focused approach makes for an exemplary entry for Alghanim Industries in Oman.
