The Plaza Hotel and Resort set to launch in Salalah

As Dhofar Governorate prepares a splendid khareef season, a new hotel is all set to open this week at the heart of the city with a capacity of more than 166 rooms.


The Plaza Hotel and Resorts, owned and managed by Ahmed al Shanfari, also features luxury suites, conference room and other facilities.


Located in the centre of the city near the Saada Commercial Centre, barely 7 km away from the Salalah International Airport, the hotel is one of the important projects to diversify the tourism sector and attract more tourists, both from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.


The Plaza Hotel and Resorts, built on an area of 3,600 sqm, will be open for business from Thursday, July 7, 2022, and aims to redefine the concept of mid-scale business and leisure travel, offering a comfortable and consistent environment with state-of-the-art facilities.


The 166-room hotel is aesthetically designed for the guests to enjoy their stay with prime comfort. Well equipped with reliable services and amenities, the Plaza Hotel will offer an unparalleled experience for business and leisure visitors. The hotel also provides distinctive benefits making travel successful and offers guests single, double and suite accommodations.


Property highlights include a meeting room, banquet room, conference room, kids’ zone, family restaurant, main restaurant, coffee shop, business centre, rental shops, large swimming pools for gents and ladies, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, massage, Morocco bath, kids play area, large parking area, prayer room and a large laundry.
