NIZWA: People from Nizwa and nearby places in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate held a special prayer for the rain on Friday. Several men, women and children participated in the prayer in the White Valley in the wilayat. During the ceremony, the Imam gave a sermon in which he called on the people to be thankful for the countless blessings that Allah has bestowed upon them, not despair and be sincere in repentance and urged the faithful to pray to Allah to bless them, their children, their beasts and their crops with rain and mercy.
