The all-new Sportage’s exterior epitomises contrast with its bold, impactful lines and assertive presence, balanced with innovation and instinctive characteristics suitable for any road, anywhere. The elongated grille links Kia’s modern signature Tiger Nose grille – that acts as the visual focal point of the car –LED DRLs (daytime running lamps), which in turn create solid boundary lines for the striking LED head lamps. At the rear, the all-new Sportage maintains strong road presence with a muscular swooping fastback design that flows into the rear lamps, allowing the SUV to personify strength and stability. Depending on spec and model, the 2023 Sportage rides on 17-inch, 19-inch choice of different alloy designs, colours and finishes.
The interior of the all-new Sportage plays with boldness in character. The interior offers a unique high-tech environment that is visually impressive, as well as spacious and intuitive. Throughout the cabin, the highest quality materials that are opulent to touch have been used, while dynamic and vibrant colour options add vibrancy and energy. Fully immersive, in-car sound is delivered to the occupants of the all-new Sportage via an 8” audio display system and steering audio control. The Sportage is also equipped with rear AC vent, Bluetooth with voice recognition, Android auto and car play, drive mode select, remote engine start, paddle shifter and more.
The all-new Sportage is equipped with comprehensive range of powerful, responsive and efficient powertrains. A 2.0 RVC 4WD with Nu 2.0 MPI churning 157 hp at 19.5 kg.m torque. This is paired to a 6-speed AT. The Sportage is also available as 1.6T 2WD SRF, 1.6T 2WD SPL and 1.6T 4WD SPL with Gamma 1.6T GDI with 176 HP and 27 kg.m. torque. These are paired to a 7-speed DCT.
Kia’s acclaimed safety technology helps the Sportage to avoid potential hazards, fully protecting occupants and other road users on every journey. The all-new Sportage features driver and front passenger airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic stability programme (ESP), hill-start assist control (HAC), downhill brake control (DBC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), blind spot collision warning (BCW) and side and curtain airbags.
