Shaikh Al Rumaithi in his speech stressed the importance of these segments of the society and the importance of cooperation of voluntary associations and the public and private local community institutions to provide the necessary services for children with Down syndrome.

The event programme began with the Holy Quran presentation by the child Al Muhannad al Amri. Then the folk art band presented a show in which the children with Down syndrome participated. After that recreational competitions were held in which most of the target children participated. Colouring activity and drawing competitions were also part of the event, in which the children participated with the help of their parents.

The parents expressed their happiness and joy and thanked the Make a Smile and Leave an Impact initiative team for the event that had a significant impact on their children's hearts.
