Muscat: University of Buraimi organised several field visits for 12th graders in Al Buraimi Governorate schools in cooperation with the Career Guidance and Counselling Department in Al Buraimi Directorate of Education. Visits included the following schools: Azzan bin Qais School, Amna bint Imam Jaber School, Sultan Qaboos School, Al Sultana School, Yazeed bin Al Muhalab School, Zainab bint Khuzaima School, Al Meqdad bin Amr School, Malik bin Anas School, Huthaifa bin Muhsan School, Um Thar School, Hafeet School, Al Sinainah School and Wadi Al Heyoul School. The field programme, which was implemented by the Department of Media and Marketing in cooperation with the Admission and Registration Department at University of Buraimi, lasted for two weeks. It aimed at giving students information about University of Buraimi and its scientific programmes, facilities and services provided to students. These visits come as a contribution from UoB to the society for the purpose of enabling school students to make the best decision for their academic goals and future careers. The visiting team also answered the students' questions and inquiries. Notably, University of Buraimi has four faculties: Commerce, Engineering, Health sciences and Law and offers 21 majors which award master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, higher diplomas and diplomas. Commendably, the university offers some unique programs not offered in the local community such as Optometry.

UoB also makes it a high priority to give employees and staff opportunities to complete their postgraduate studies by providing suitable timings for the master's programmes. Thus, some of these programs are offered at weekends, twice a month. UoB is currently offering (5) master’s programmes, ie Cybersecurity, Engineering Management, Business Administration, as well as masters in Public Administration and Private Law. The latter two programmes are taught in Arabic.
