Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority issued a new circular on the travel between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates to all airline operators as per the Civil Aviation Law.
The decisions include that citizens of the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE when they are traveling between the two countries shall present the registration certificate in [https://covic19.emushrif.om/ ) with the upload of a covid 19 vaccination certificate as approved in the Sultanate of Oman and a negative result of PCR test conducted within 14 ) days prior to the scheduled time of arrival in the Sultanate of Oman.
Verification of passengers' documents before traveling to the Sultanate of Oman:
Aircraft operators shall verify that any passenger traveling to the Sultanate of Oman has met the requirements.
Air operators shall notify the passengers, prior to arrival, to prepare their documents for verification by the immigration and upon request by the airport's staff.
Aircraft operators shall be fined in the event of carrying a passenger who has not met the travel requirements to the Sultanate of Oman.
Passengers' documents to be verified by aircraft operators prior to travel to the Sultanate of Oman:
For vaccinated passengers as per the CAA circular 20/2021:
1. Registration in https://covic19.emushrif.om/
2. Vaccination certificate
3. A negative result of PCR test or reservation for the PCR test upon arrival to the Sultanate of Oman.
If not vaccinated as per the requirements of the CAA Circular 20/2021:
1. Registration in https://covic19.emushrif.om/
2. A negative result of PCR test or reservation for the PCR test upon arrival to the Sultanate of Oman.
3. Confirmed reservation of institutional quarantine except for Omani citizens and other categories excluded from the institutional quarantine.
The CAA circular on the ban from some countries is applicable.
