Omani artist Alia Al Farsi has signed last week a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi-based 015 Gallery to work on multiple art projects with the aim of sharing the best art experiences and practices in the GCC and the Arab World.
This agreement comes as the Sultanate and Saudi Arabia are accelerating their cooperation and investments in various sectors, as both parties seek to encourage investment in fine arts and promote local artists.
The Omani-Saudi ties are expected to see notable economic integration that constitutes an opportunity for the two countries’ people.
This agreement is the first of its kind signed by the artist since the opening of Alia Gallery in 2020, and it is the beginning of a series of joint projects.
It is noteworthy that His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, paid a visit to 015 Gallery in Riyadh at the invitation of Princess Sarah bint Abdullah bin Musaed, the Gallery’s founder, who welcomed all possible means of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Several art projects will be announced soon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of Alia Gallery represented by Alia Al Farsi, and 015 Gallery.
