Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs on Sunday has decided to reopen mosques for Friday. An online permit to perform the Friday prayer is a must, stated the Ministry. Those who would like to host the Friday prayer can get a permit by registering through this link - https://www.mara.gov.om/arabic/jmah_form.aspx
Mosques were closed for Friday prayers since March 2020 as part of Oman’s covid-19 pandemic tackling measures.
