Daymaniat Shells, a marine tourism company operating at Al Mouj Muscat, has won a coveted TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in recognition of its consistently great tourist reviews. It is one of many at Oman’s premier lifestyle destination to be elevated by its ideal location as a hub for both tourism and business excellence.
Only 10 per cent of operators featured on TripAdvisor are awarded TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice as they must meet the highest standards of customer service as well as creating unforgettable experiences, all of which Daymaniat Shells has achieved through its range of trips, including snorkelling, dolphin watching, and sunset cruises.
Now in its fourth year of business, it is one of 13 tour operators and charter companies operating from Al Mouj Marina to capitalise on the natural beauty of the coastline of Oman and an ocean rich with sea life which Daymaniat Shells helps make accessible to tourists. Oman has an underwater oasis boasting the greatest diversity of marine species in the Arabian Sea and which includes schools of mobula rays, 22 species of whales and dolphins and a rainbow of soft corals home to thousands of reef fish.
Al Mouj Muscat attracts 3.9 million people a year given the variety of leisure opportunities it offers, particularly eco-friendly marine tourism. In the past year alone, 1,859 marine tour trips have departed from its marina.

Al Mouj Marina is one of only four marinas in the region to hold the prestigious five Gold Anchors by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). The well-respected certification assesses marinas throughout the world, all of which must pass a rigorous audit.
