Written exam begins for jobs in govt sectors

Written examination for a total 1,541 job seekers for opportunities in different public sector entities began at Al Khuwair on Monday. “A total of 1,541 applicants will write examinations for 80 job opportunities offered to a number of government sectors. The exams are for a period of three days”, the Ministry of Labour said in a statement. According to the Ministry, the exams, being conducted at University of Technology and Applied Sciences, are to select candidates for jobs in various government departments. They include the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Social Development, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Administrative Affairs Council of the Judiciary and the National Museum. On the first day on Monday, as many as 485 male and female candidates have been selected to appear for a total of 35 jobs, while 474 males and females write exam for 23 jobs on Tuesday. The remaining 582 candidates will have exams on Wednesday for 22 jobs.
