MUSCAT: General Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office on Monday Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria.
Al Numani affirmed the deep, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the progress witnessed by these relations in many spheres. He also stressed the attention accorded to these relations by the leaderships of the two countries.
The guest expressed his thanks and appreciation for the Sultanate's regional and international role.
The meeting also touched on a range of matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Austrian Ambassador to Oman and the delegation accompanying the guest.
Gen Al Numani also received in his office Leslie M Tsou, Ambassador of the United States of America (USA) to the Sultanate.
The US ambassador expressed her thanks and appreciation for Oman's role at the region and the existing relations of cooperation between the Sultanate and the USA.
The meeting reviewed the march of strong, historical relations binding the two sides in all fields, as well as means of promoting them to achieve further joint cooperation between the two friendly countries. The two sides also touched on issues of mutual interest. -- ONA
