MUSCAT: An official session of talks was held at SAF headquarters on Wednesday between Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF), and Lt Gen (Pilot) Ghanim Shaheen al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the State of Qatar, who is currently visiting the Sultanate.
The session reviewed fields of the existing military cooperation between the two countries’ ministries of defence and means of enhancing these fields. The two sides exchanged points of view and discussed several issues of joint interest that serve the two brotherly countries.
SAYYID SHIHAB RECEIVES AL GHANIM
His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Al Murtafa'a Camp on Wednesday Lt.Gen (Pilot) Ghanem Shaheen al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the State of Qatar.
During the meeting, Sayyid Shihab welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation. The meeting reviewed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and exchanged views on several matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF).
ROYAL OFFICE MINISTER RECEIVES AL GHANIM
General Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, also received at his office Lt Gen (Pilot) Ghanim Shaheen al Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in the State of Qatar.
The meeting reviewed the strong, fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, and fields of joint cooperation. The two sides exchanged conversations on regional issues of mutual interest.
The Qatari guest commended the sturdy relations binding the Sultanate with Qatar. -- ONA
