MCBS launches “My Ramadhan” programmes

Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) has begun a series of events and activities titled My Ramadhan. This includes a series of lectures about important topics, as well as interactive activities for students and guest and a social media campaign called My Ramadhan at the college in the form of competition with tempting prizes for the winners.
The leitmotif of this innovative initiative of by Modern College is to collect donations for the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities and share the belief that all children can learn.
The activities of My Ramadhan programme opened at the colleges Seminar Hall on June 6, with more than a hundred guests in attendance including college students, faculty, staff and special guests, including Sabah Al Bahlani, CEO of the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities, and Mr. Haitham Al Hatmi, Guidance Counsellor at Ahmed Bin Majid Private School.
Meanwhile, MCBS students organised a fair with several interactive activities, where people were inspired by Quran quotes and samples of good deed and shared their thoughts on how education can be used as a powerful tool to make positive changes in the world and donate to the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities.
A presentation titled ‘Healthy Habits in Ramadhan and General Hygiene’ by Salma Al Khanjari, which was open to public, was held on Tuesday, June 13.
