The captain of the ship, Khalifa bin Mohammed al Saadi, said: “We thank God for our safe arrival to the Polish city of Szczecin. In the festival, ships are divided into categories based on length, area of sails, age of ship and weight. Shabab Oman II has participated in the earlier editions of the festival where it won numerous awards. The love of Polish public towards Shabab Oman II is reflected in the warm welcome we got at the Szczecin port. We thank the Polish people for this welcome and great joy in our participation in their maritime festival. With God’s help we will continue to do our best to highlight Oman’s culture and spread the message of brotherhood and peace.”
